STRC Dividend Calculator
Monthly income, yield on cost and DRIP compounding at the live 12.00% rate — built on the same verified data as our STRC payment calendar
Enter how many STRC shares you own (or plan to buy) and your purchase price. The calculator uses the current 12.00% annualized rate on the $100 stated amount and shows what STRC pays per semi-monthly payment, per month and per year — plus your effective yield on cost.
Unlike a generic dividend calculator, everything on this page is wired to a verified dataset: the live rate, the rate history, and every dividend Strategy has actually declared since the July 2025 IPO. When the rate resets, these figures update with it.

The rate field defaults to the current annualized rate. STRC's rate is reset monthly — try lower values to stress-test your income.

STRC Dividend Yield Calculator: Purchase Price vs Effective Yield
STRC's 12.00% applies to the $100 stated amount — not to what you paid. The market price moves around par, so two buyers of the same share can earn very different yields on cost.
| Purchase price | Effective yield |
|---|---|
| $85 | 14.12% |
| $90(IPO) | 13.33% |
| $95 | 12.63% |
| $100(stated amount) | 12.00% |
| $105 | 11.43% |

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does 100 shares of STRC pay per month?›
At the current 12.00% annualized rate, 100 shares pay about $100 per month — $1,200 per year — delivered as two payments of roughly $50 around the middle and end of each month. The rate is reset monthly, so this figure changes when Strategy adjusts it.
How is the STRC dividend calculated?›
Annual dividend per share = the $100 stated amount × the annualized rate. At 12.00% that is $12.00 per share per year, split into 24 semi-monthly payments of $0.50. Your personal yield depends on what you paid: $12.00 on a $95 entry is about a 12.6% yield on cost.
How much do I need to invest in STRC for $1,000 a month?›
At the current 12.00% rate and a $100 share price, about $100,000 — 1,000 shares paying $12,000 a year. If the rate resets lower, the same income needs more shares, which is why the calculator lets you stress-test other rates.
Does STRC have a DRIP (dividend reinvestment plan)?›
Strategy does not operate an official DRIP for STRC, but most brokerages can automatically reinvest the semi-monthly cash dividends. The DRIP mode above simulates that compounding: at a constant 12.00% reinvested at $100, the effective annual return works out to roughly 12.7%.
Is the STRC dividend guaranteed?›
No. Dividends must be declared by Strategy's board each period. They are cumulative — missed payments accrue and must be cleared before common or junior-preferred dividends — but STRC is not collateralized by Strategy's Bitcoin, and payment ultimately depends on Strategy's finances.
